Gest'eau

Gest'eau is an internet site containing documents dealing with integrated water management and it centralises data on the planning documents that are created under the European Water framework directive (WFD) to restore water to good ecological status. Those documents include the river-basin management plans (RBMP), sub-basin management plans (SBMP) and the environmental contracts for rivers, bays, aquifers, etc., where the goal is to define and implement action programmes to restore and manage a given environment. Other documents (restoration and maintenance contracts, territorial contracts, etc.) are presented on the sites of each river basin.
